Activ Médical Disposable (AMD) has entered into a binding agreement to sell the company to Attindas Hygiene Partners.
Subject to regulatory approval and the usual conditions precedent, this sale would enable AMD to join a major international group which owns, amongst other assets, three hygiene-related manufacturing plants in Europe (Spain, Sweden and Italy). This sale would enable AMD to expand its range of solutions by adding Attindas’ production capabilities, enhancing its portfolio of complementary products and establishing new customer relationships. This acquisition will strengthen Attindas’ position in Europe by enabling it to establish a strategic presence in France, the third-largest European market. It will also enable Attindas to expand its industrial footprint and asset base, bring production closer to customers, increase its capacity and support its future growth. The acquisition of AMD would reinforce Attindas’ strategy of building a pan-European company well-positioned to serve its customers across the European continent.
